My name is Sam Dowler and I am founder and MD of Glo-Kids (TM) and wanted to tell you a bit about myself and how Glo-Kids started.
Gaining my sports coaching award at college, I headed off to Ireland to continue my coaching career. Whilst there, I worked at a number of schools, teaching various sports, mainly football, but also learning new coaching techniques in hockey, rugby and Gaelic Football.
Having years of experience in the children's sector, including paediatric nursing at The University of Surrey, managing after school clubs and coaching football at several Primary Schools, I quickly realised I have a natural ability to entertain children.
Hence Glo-Kids was created. Always one to create a 'wow-factor', I took the old traditional party games and fun and added that bit of pazazz with LED lights, lasers, smoke and dancing!
With my early drama expereince on the Shakepsreare Theatre, I love entertaining a crowd. Having completed a 2 year business course with The Loius Group, I looked to expand the part-time parties into a full-time children's entertainment provider.
Bringing my wife on board, we are now proud owners of The Glo-Group, encompassing Glo-Babies, Glo-Kids and Glo-DJ - a one stop shop for all the family's entertainment needs from parties to milestone celebrations, festivals and weddings!
